DU 2nd Cut Off List 2019: Awaited by millions of students, the second cutoff list released


DU 2nd Cut Off List 2019:  As per the admission process of Delhi University-2019-20, the second cut-off has been issued today (Wednesday), under which the admission will be till July 6. 

Opportunity for admission in the campus 
teachers say that in the second cutoff, the campus will be given an opportunity to get admission in colleges outside the campus. Another cutoff will also be issued on Thursday, under which students will be able to enroll till July 6

Before this, the DU has recorded record under the first cutoff in the undergraduate this year. DU admission committee chairman Prof. Rajiv Gupta said that earlier this year 23,780 students have been enrolled on the basis of cutoff. Before the first cutoff, more admissions had never been done before. Earlier, about seven thousand students had enrolled last year. In the top cutouts of the North Campus and South Campus, there will be no opportunity for admission in some courses in the second cutoff. In many colleges including Hindu College, Hansraj College, Sri Ram College of Commerce, Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram College and Ramjas, many courses will be closed.

The principals have expressed hope that it will not be possible to get opportunity in top colleges in Political Science Honors, English Honors, Philosophy Honors, Sociology Honors, in the second cutoff. In the Hindu College, the seats have been filled in Political Science Honors, English Honors, Physics Hons, Chemistry Honors. Entrance has also been completed in Economics Honors at Shri Ram College of Commerce.

Assistant Professor
DU Registrar Pro. Tarun Das on Tuesday informed through a press release that the DU administration will recruit 263 Assistant Professors. An advertisement has been issued for this. You can apply by visiting the DU’s website. DU has asked for online applications. Recruitment will also be taken for the appointment of Associate Professor.
